Our Story
Cupcaken' Around is a home bakery specializing in scratch made gourmet pound cakes and select sweets that are made-to-order and suitable for all occasions without the added stress of all the details involved with custom cakes. Simply put, we do not provide custom cakes. We consider our top-notch standard cake decor to be luxurious, tastefully appointed, and aesthetically pleasing. In a nutshell, the goal is to provide you with a beautiful and delicious cake that is sure to wow you and your guests, whether it's for a special occasion or to simply satisfy your sweet tooth! We offer curbside pick-up and limited delivery. We want your experience to be memorable, and customer service is our main focus. We hope to hear from you soon!
Our Menu
Our menu features a variety of beautifully decorated gourmet Bundt and pound cakes, as well as a few select items, all made from scratch with fresh, quality ingredients. There's a beautiful, delicious cake waiting just for you at Cupcaken' Around. Don't hesitate to reach out to us via our Order Request Form to inquire about our services.
NOTE: We do NOT offer vegan and gluten-free options.
Our Terms
- Three days advance notice is required for orders. After you submit an order request, we will respond within one business day with an invoice via email or text.
- Curbside pickup is available M-F 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 12pm (noon).
- Delivery is offered on Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm and is calculated at 67 cents per mile.
- We're located 4 miles from the Charlotte Premium Outlets off I-485 at the Steele Creek Road exit. Exact location will be provided when order is confirmed and payment is received.
- Full payment is required at the time your order is placed.
- Orders over $200 with at least two (2) weeks advance notice require a 50% deposit. Balance is due seven (7) days prior to the day of pick up/delivery. If balance is not paid by the due date, a reminder is sent and payment is due within 24 hours or order will be canceled and deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellation requests must be received 48 hours prior to pickup/delivery date for a refund.
- If you are not satisfied with your order, please reach out to us directly to resolve the issue. We stand by our products and will do what we can to rectify the situation.
- Refund requests for any reason will not be granted without return of the product.
- Customer satisfaction is our main goal. Please examine your cake when it is picked up or delivered. After the order leaves our hands, we are not responsible for any damages to the cake. Cake care instructions will be provided.
Shipping Policy (Available for Select Cakes)
Want to send a sweet gift for a special occasion or just because? We're here for it!
- Our current shipping method is USPS Priority Mail for all east coast & central US. We are not shipping to the west coast at this time. The costs and arrival date of your order is based on the USPS Priority Mail shipping guidelines, which has an average of 2 to 3 days for delivery with tracking and insurance included. Costs will depend on when your order is placed, the zip code shipped to, and in some cases the weight of the package. If requesting shipping, the cost will be included on your invoice.
- Shipping will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Overnight shipping is not available.
- We will ensure your order is thoughtfully packaged with the ultimate care prior to turning it over to the shipping carrier.
